New guidance on social gatherings - Vermont Biz

Vermont Business Magazine Governor Phil Scott and Health Commissioner Mark Levine, MD, on Friday announced an advisory on social gatherings, strongly recommending they be limited to 10 or fewer people. Noting that Vermont has seen an increasing number of cases as a result of socializing, and many states are now pointing to private social gatherings as a contributor to spread of COVID-19, the State is providing firm recommendations to limit these types of events.

The Department of Health has also developed a Holiday Travel Toolkit for Schools for use in helping to encourage families to consider their plans carefully to protect one another this holiday season.

A reminder that the application window for businesses applying through ACCD closes on Monday, November 9th. Visit the ACCD COVID-19 Recovery Resource Center for full details, eligibility requirements, how to apply, FAQs for businesses, webinar recordings, and translated fact sheets. The application window for those businesses applying through the Department of Taxes has now closed.

Join a free, informational webinar Diagnosing Your Business Health, designed to help you ensure your business is on the right path. Presented by UVM and Dan Feliciano of OpEx90, the webinar will help business owners identify, rank, and prioritize the actions your business should take to improve its sustainability and profitability.

ACCD wants to hear from all Vermont businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Please use the ACCD Business Impact Form to help us continue to assess the full impact as we work toward additional recovery solutions.
