NEW YORK – NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) announced on Twitter that it would join the #StopHateForProfit campaign, pausing fundraising ads on Facebook and Instagram during the month of July. The coalition coordinating the campaign is calling for reform on social media platforms to address the proliferation of hate, extremism and disinformation messages.
