For the first time since 1917, there will not be a season in the Big Ten Conference for football happening in the fall.

The conference decided on Tuesday that it will not play any sports in the fall, though it could bring some athletics back in the spring. The sports being postponed are men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s volleyball.
