Portland answered with an 8-0 run to go up 89-87 with under five minutes to go, and then closed out the Lakers to win the game.

LeBron James’ go-ahead lay-up and Kyle Kuzma’s four straight points push Lakers ahead 84-78 with eight minutes to go on an 11-0 run.

With the Blazers threatening to pull away again, the Lakers battled back, trail 68-65 after a 5-0 run, and LeBron already with a triple double and 14 assists. The Lakers trail 78-75 end of third.
