Bronx, N.Y. – The 2021 spring semester was a busy one, with most Fordham teams competing, capped by the men's soccer squad winning the Atlantic 10 title. However, that did not mean that Fordham University student-athletes were not still actively addressing important social justice initiatives as the Rams find ways to combat the social injustices found in society.
"To continue with our #OneRamily Social Justice Plan, I am excited to present the second report on our initiatives this past semester," said Director of Athletics Ed Kull. "I am inspired and grateful to our student-athletes, coaches, and staff for their leadership and efforts toward creating a more inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for the entire Fordham Athletics community. I am thrilled to announce our Fordham Athletics Social Justice Task Force is expanding with a new name, structure, and opportunity for all Fordham Athletics employees and student-athletes to be involved. The social justice task force will now be known as the Fordham Athletics Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Committee (IDEA). We are looking forward to dedicating even more time and effort to being a department where all members feel valued, respected, and included."
